Falling for Favre

This afternoon, I watched Brett Favre lead the Green Bay Packers in a win over the Seahawks! I think I'm falling for this Favre guy. Of course, Daddy and I don't see eye-to-eye when it comes to the Bears and the Packers.
As you can see in the photo, I'm now able to sit up on my own. It helps when I can hold onto toys. Here is my new favorite toy to hold onto. I learned quickly that pushing the blue lever releases balls, makes noise, and lights up the toy!

A Solid Start

Dew Part Deux

I love to read my new Beatrix Potter books with daddy. All the characters have creative, meaningful names. You might recall Peter Rabbit & Benjamin Bunny. There's also Squirrel Nutkin, Dr Maggotty the magpie who helps with the pie, Tom Thumb & Hunca Munca, and Mrs. Tiggy-winkle the hedgehog.
My parents often call me by various nicknames. Of course, there was Baby Bud while I was in utero. After birth, I've developed a variety of new names:
- Mr. B. [ironically, also a fine steak restaurant nearby]
- Pocito Benito [meaning "little" and the Spanish ending -ito meaning little]
- Midgito [another redundant moniker]
- Lil' Man [usually prefaced with "good job..."]
- Litl-Dew

Litl-Dew arose recently from mommy's similar nickname, "honeydew." Honey do this, honey do that... now daddy has a new do to do!
